Cross Country
Cross Country is an important part of our sporting curriculum. All children from the ages of 7 to 13 are encouraged to participate to the best of their ability. Staff run with the children and motivate them to improve their fitness and stamina. All children benefit. While some go on to represent the school in local or national events, others realise the satisfaction on completing training. This furthers their endurance in other sports as well as benefiting their long-term health, confidence and appreciation that hard work pays off.
Children are also taught how to warm-up and stretch, the value of healthy diet and benefit from different types of training sessions in our expansive, beautiful grounds.
