Swimming

Cundall Manor has its own 4-lane 20m indoor swimming pool. All pupils, from Reception upwards, have one swimming lesson per week with ASA Level 2 Swimming Teachers. They also have the opportunity of attending one of the school swimming clubs which are provided as after school activities on 4 evenings of the week.

The school participates in a minimum of 3 swimming galas per term and has taken part in the ESSA Primary School Relay Championships for the past 3 years. Two of these years they have, as winners of the regional round, represented Division 3 of ESSA in the National Finals at Pond’s Forge, Sheffield.

For the past 2 years the school has also hosted a North-East Prep Schools Championship in order to promote competitive swimming alongside other major sports.
