Children may be picked up from the two car parks (forms 1&2 from the Pre-Prep car park and forms 3-6 from Main School car park) only if they are finishing school at the normal finish time i.e.: 5.00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and at 4.00 p.m. on Wednesdays. Children should be picked up from the gravelled area in front of the bungalows at 6.00 p.m. on Tuesdays if they have attended Adventurers. Children who are participating in any other after school activity should be picked up by their parents from the activity (i.e. from the changing room after swimming) or from the library. If children are returning from matches after 4.00 p.m. on Wednesdays they should also be picked up from the library.
Please DO NOT tell you child to meet you in the car park, they are not allowed to stay in the car park unattended -YOU must come to collect them from their activity/Prep or the library. Children from forms 1&2 who are being picked up from the Pre-Prep car park will wait with their form teachers outside the Art Room where they should be collected by their parents. Children should not walk to their cars through the Pre-Prep car park on their own.
Please adhere to the above - it is for your children's safety.
I-POD found in the back of Col. Weld's car (after Vintage Car Rally) if you have lost yours please ask Mrs. P.
Whole School Photos
If you ordered a whole school photo this is now ready for collection from the main school office.
Sponsored Ride/Walk - Sunday 2nd November
Mr P. is getting his grill ready and needs to know how many sausages he is cooking. Friends and supporters are also welcome: £10.00 to take part or £3.00 just for refreshments. Please let the school office know as soon as possible if you or your friends are intending to take part as we need to know for catering purposes. For those who are completing Sponsorship Forms please let us know as soon as possible how many there will be in your party.
To get to the Ribston Estate follow the old A1 (A168) South to the Bridge Inn at Walshford, turn right at the roundabout and immediately left. Follow the ‘Cundall' signs from the estate gates. For those bringing Horse lorries we are negotiating to park in the Bridge Inn's overflow car park to avoid lorries getting stuck if the weather is wet. Postcode is LS22 5HT for those with fancy ‘satnav'!
Cake Stalls
Thank you to everyone who made and/or bought cakes (on Friday 17th), a fantastic result, we raised £480.
Christmas Fair - Saturday 22nd November
We are collecting gifts for the Tombola, if anyone can help please leave your item in the Main School entrance hall. We are also looking for toys/games etc for the 2nd hand toy stall.
If anyone is interested in playing in the Fathers' Football Match please see either Mr Sample or call John Pearson on 07811 131298 or 01423 339077.
U13 Hockey v Malsis School won 6-0
This was a good match, more competitive than the result implies. Cundall girls were more aggressive and forceful than in recent matches and must continue to work on this. LW
U11 Hockey v Casterton and Malsis Schools
After getting colder and colder while watching the U13s play for 45 minutes, the U11s played Casterton School who they lost to 2-1. However, their second match against Malsis (after the warm up against Casterton) they won 1-0. Well done in such bitter conditions girls. LW
