Carols in the Community - tonight's the night!

Don't forget that tonight we're celebrating Christmas in and around Alne and Crayke. Any last minute carollers who'd like to join our merry band are welcome to meet us at our final port of call, the Durham Oak in Crayke, at about 8pm..

Friday is flag day!

You may be aware that all pupils in the Main School are involved in our Flag Day this Friday. We'll be decking the whole school with flags from around the world, assigning a choice of national flags to each form, and running a series of flag based competitions through out the day.  The event is already causing a huge stir around school so we have invited the Upper School to be a part of the fun and activities as well. The three year groups have each been given a choice of countries to represent and they are invited to come into school on Friday in mufti that reflects their chosen nation's flag. (Please note, they are not required to come dressed in a national costume or as a representative national - just to wear colours represented in the flag!)

India Trip

Next Tuesday evening, Mr Shepherd will be giving an Adventurers talk about last summer's trip to India. If any of this next summer's India expedition team, or indeed their parents, would like to attend, they are more than welcome. The talk will start at 5pm and finish by 6pm.

As Mr Chubb will be publishing an end of term letter next week this is the final Upper School bulletin for this term so Merry Christmas and  Happy Holiday!
