U13 North Yorkshire Hockey
Selection took place for the North Yorkshire U13 Hockey Academy on Sunday after a number of training sessions last term. Three girls from Cundall were selected, from a total of over 50 present at the selection. Well done to Lili Kettlewell, Josie Proctor and Ellie Watson.
Forms 1 and 2 Swim Squad
There will not be a swim squad on Thursday 22nd January as there is a swimming gala that evening.
U11 Netball v Brackenfield
A surprisingly good start to the term as the girls have had no netball for at least 5 weeks. We passed confidently with speed around the (very small) court and were in the lead 7-1 after the first quarter. Brackenfield did pull back after this and put up a fight. The final score of 17-13 was a good reflection of the game. Some of the team need to defend more closely to have greater effect in future.
Cundall Manor Football Results v Moorlands
The 1st XI team produced a determined 6-3 win versus Moorlands. The strong running of Will Pepper and goals from Arron Johnson and Jonty Gill secured a comfortable win. U11As - the As came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 with excellent determination. U11Bs - Despite battling away with chances to score the boys lost 3-0. U9s - In a game of two halves Cundall had secured a healthy lead to hold on to a 5-4 win.
I-Pod Found - after vintage car rally last term, belonging to someone named Paul. If it is yours please contact the school office.
