Cricket Tour to South Africa

I find it difficult to summarise all that happened in an amazing two weeks.  Boys experienced a Safari where they stroked cheetahs to experiencing first hand Robin Island and having their photographs taken holding the Rugby World Cup at Newlands Stadium Cape Town.  As far as the cricket goes the boys played six matches in total and honours were shared with three victories and three defeats.  My thanks go to Mr Shepherd and to all the accompanying parents who helped make this such a wonderful trip.  Please look out for the display which will shortly be put up once Mrs Wick has sifted through the 1,600 photographs.                                               JSa

This is your chance to try some of the experiments your children perform in Main School.  There will also be an opportunity to discuss curriculum materials and see first hand how they link into your child's learning.  Please let the office know if you would like to join us.                                                                                               GS

FORM 5S AND HALF OF 5GS Parents' Evening will now take place on Monday 16th March from 6.30 p.m.

Senior House Rugby

Yesterday the Senior House Rugby took place.  In keeping with this event there was no quarter given as friends played against each other as rivals.  Tudors ran out overall winners with Stuarts in second Saxons third and Normans fourth.  When combining the results of junior, intermediate and senior together the overall positions reflected those of the Senior House Rugby results.  Congratulations to Tudors who lift the trophy this year.

Senior House Netball

A great afternoon of netball, very fast and furious.  Some excellent shooting especially from Alice Hookway.  The end result was 3 points to Stuarts, 7 points to Normans, 7 points to Saxons and 7 points to Tudors.  The three teams with 7 points all having 2 wins and 1 loss so it come down to goal difference.  Saxons were the clear winners followed by Normans then Tudors.  Well done girls.                                                                             CC
