Science EGG Competition - Held on 3rd July
It was another fabulous morning at Cundall for the Science Egg Challenge. This year contestants had to build a contraption to send their egg down the hill in front of school the greatest distance without breaking the egg. This was done, for most, successfully with only a small number of broken eggs. However, the distance traveled varied form a massive 195m to a not so massive 3.68m.
In the end the winner was Ross DiClemente and his last minute team of Tom Wade and Riley Tuley with an extraordinary 195m in a tyre. This was an amazing 100m more then the next team.
Second place went to team "Kaboom" (William and Thomas Shelley, James Sowerby, Oli Procter and Charley Gloag) with 94m and third place went to the "Chunky Chuckers" with 77.10m
The winning entry launches their egg.
Team Kaboom and their amazing contraption.
