Thank You!

Thank you to Richard Kay for his very generous donation of the self watering pots, a picnic bench and compost for the vegetable garden. Our thanks also to Mrs Newby for supplying the paint for the gardening hut and also plants, netting and the tyres to plant our pumpkins in. Thanks to Mrs Milton for donations of plants and her excellent advice and support.

The kindness and support of parents is really appreciated by all the gardeners. Thank you.                            VW

Prep School’s Choral Festival trip

The Chamber choir spent another memorable day at Stowe School on Tuesday. The weather was very kind and we arrived in glorious sunshine which enhanced the stunning grounds and buildings and reflected the general mood of the day. We rehearsed in the chapel with 350 pupils from other prep schools and then were joined by Stowe Chapel Choir for the final rehearsal before we all came together to sing Choral Evensong at 4pm. The singing was beautiful and, once again, the memory of the wonderful music, the sound of the hundreds of voices accompanied by the superb organ and the camaraderie and friendship of those around us, will live with me for a long time.

Our children performed admirably and were again complimented on their beautiful sound. Well done members of the Chamber Choir

Special Offer on ACE pocket  spelling dictionaries

The ACE dictionary is an indispensible aid to anyone who struggles with spelling. Unlike standard dictionaries, the ACE dictionary enables you to look for a word based on your own phonetic spelling and then provides the correctly spelt version for you. For example, if you look for ‘nee’, it will offer the correct spelling of ‘knee’; look for ‘fotograf’ and you’ll find ‘photograph’. The ACE pocket spelling dictionary normally retails for £12.00 but are available to us for a limited period for just £6.00. If you would like to order one, please let the school office, or Learning Support Department know by Wednesday 5th May. (Payment on delivery).
