Election Special

The Returning Officer of the Cundall Manor General Election can confirm the following results, by proportion:

4^th - Liberal Democrat, 3^rd - Labour, 2^nd Green Party, 1^st Conservative. With the Conservative Party taking 50% of the votes, and the other three parties sharing the other 50%, Cundall Manor too has a Hung Parliament! Congratulations to all those in Form 6 who stood for election, and many thanks to all pupils who exercised their democratic right to vote.

Marrick Priory Friday 14^th - Sunday 16^th May

Please note that pupils will be returning to school by 3.30pm on Sunday.

HPV Vaccinations

There will be an additional vaccination session on Thursday 27^th May for any Form 6/Thornton girls who missed their 3^rd injection last month.

GCSE Art viewing

The work undertaken recently by Thornton and Eldmire GCSE pupils will be available for viewing in the gym on the evening of Thursday 27^th and all day Friday 28^th May.

A reminder that all pupils must be summer uniform after half term. Boys' polo shirts and girls' gingham skirts and blouses are available from the Uniform shop.

Fathers' Cricket Match

Attention all fathers of cricketing ability! Please join us at the annual Fathers' match, to take place on the morning of the Summer Fair.

Start time 10:30, lunch at the School Fair, and continued into the early afternoon.

Cundall Gardeners

The Gardening Club are taking a stand at the Summer Fair, selling potted herbs, bedding plants, tomato plants and brightly coloured pots. Any donations of plants on the day will be most welcome.

Congratulations to everyone who played in a match against Ampleforth last Saturday. All 9 teams were victorious!

Tesco Sports and Schools Vouchers

A huge thank you to all families who are donating their green Tesco vouchers. These have proved invaluable in previous years and have funded relay batons, athletics measuring tapes, shot, hockey goalkeeper's bags, netball bags and other sports equipment. All boys in Forms 5 and 6 will be required to play in the House Cricket competition this Saturday.
